Under the 1917 Masonic Temple, downtown Flagstaff

We bring the dust home.

The Wild Below is an underground art and event house in the basement of Flagstaff's 1917 Masonic Temple. Four rooms, one door on San Francisco Street. Made by people who make things. Open to everyone. Opening soon.

Opening soon. Two ways to be first.

01Why this exists

Some of the best rooms we have ever stood in only existed for a week.

A festival, a desert camp, a pop-up gallery, a friend's warehouse. Art on every wall, a stranger handing you something they made, a stage anyone could step onto. Then the lights come up and it is gone. We wanted that room to have a permanent address in Flagstaff. We found it under the floorboards of downtown.

Made by makers. Open to everyone.

02Four rooms

Down the stairs, four doors.

01

The Reliquary.

The way in.

02

The Vortex.

The big one.

03

The Observatory.

The celestial one.

04

Sub Rosa.

The quiet one.

The Vortex and The Observatory are the rooms you can rent, together or apart. The Reliquary is the way in. Sub Rosa is for the people who keep the place.

03The Collective

Around $20 a month. A reason to come down every week.

Members get in free to every Collective night: co-working sessions, bring-your-own-craft nights, and whatever members start. On the paid nights, the DJ nights, members get a discount. Membership is not a key to the space. Nobody is down here alone. The plan is more free nights, month after month, until this is the third place you think of after home and work.
